It's 2 pounds of Ground Beef Trachea & Gullet or "Ground T & G" for short. It's packaged in a convenient deli container. There is a lot of crunchy, chewy goodness in this coarse grind which is fresh-frozen for your pets. This boneless product is meaty & rich containing only trachea and gullet. The cartilage in the trachea & gullet is a natural source for glucosamine & chondroitin sulfate. It is an excellent product for all dogs, young or old, especially breeds known for hip/joint problems. Our product is from USDA inspected & approved Midwestern-raised cattle. Steroid-free. Hormone-free. NOTE: Every attempt has been made to remove the thyroid from our cows during slaughter. Because of the thyroid's proximity to the gullet it is possible that it has been punctured and the residual tissue around the thyroid (the gullet) may contain elevated levels of beef thyroid hormone. Beef thyroid hormone fed in excess could cause thyroid issues in your pet. Please do not overfeed gullet.
